Travel TIPS:
- If you are arriving in Chongqing on your cruise departing date, we suggest you book a flight arriving at Chongqing before 4:00 pm or a train arriving before 5:00 pm. The cruie ship embarkation time is usually between 17:00-20:00. However, in case of any flight delay, you may also arrive in Chongqing one day in advance to explore the mountain city.
- According to the water level conditions, the embarkation port might be changed to Fengdu Port, and a coach transfer would be arranged from Chongqing city center by the cruise line. If this situation happens, we would inform you about the coach departing time and location (in both English and Chinese) by email at least one day before your cruise departure date, so please make sure to check your email before heading to Chaotianmen Port, the normal 3 Nights cruise departing port.

By Metro
Xiaoshizi Station is the nearest metro station to Chaotianmen Docks, as the Chaotianmen Station (scheduled to operate by the end of 2020) is still under construction. From Xiaoshizi Station to Chaotianmen Docks, you may take a taxi, taking about 15-20 minutes (1km – 3km as per different piers). Walking to docks (different route) is possible but there are many stairs enroute, so not recommended for passengers with baggage.

If you are arriving in Chongqing at Chongqing West Railway Station, the metro transportation is not available temporarily because the Chongqing West Metro Station is still under construction, and we suggest you take a taxi or book a private transfer in advance.
Private Transfer
If you prefer a worry-free tour experience, you may book a private transfer (add-on service) when you book a Yangtze River cruise with us. Your private driver will expect you and send you to Chaotianmen Port, and you don’t need to share the van with any strangers. It is also an ideal option for groups with more than 2 people, as there might be no enough space for 3-4 PAX with baggage in a taxi.
